WEAC members recommend Susan Happ for Attorney General
The members of the Wisconsin Education Association Council are recommending Susan Happ for Attorney General.
As the Jefferson County District Attorney, Happ has proven she is an effective prosecutor who protects families and keeps schools and communities safe. In taking the next step to the statewide level, she will bring her perspectives as a prosecutor, small business owner and mother.
Happ is the daughter of two public school teachers and still makes her home in Jefferson, where she was born and grew up. She respects the work teachers and education support professionals do every day to give children a better future.
“WEAC members are recommending Susan Happ because Wisconsin deserves an attorney general who stands for justice and for working families,” said WEAC President Betsy Kippers, a teacher from Racine. “She has earned the support of Wisconsin educators.”
The Wisconsin Education Association Council proudly represents dedicated public education employees across the state by amplifying their voices to ensure Wisconsin maintains high-quality public schools.
